All current parents of 3 and 4 years olds can now apply online to see if they are eligible for the governments free 30 hours childcare scheme which begins in September. The website you will need to go to in order to apply is www.childcarechoices.gov.uk. If you are deemed eligible then you will be issued with a code which you must then bring to either Jennie or Gemma. We will be offering the 30 hours to current parents only in the first instance. We will be providing the stretched offer over 51 weeks of the year meaning that it equates to 22.5 hours per week. For more information please see a member of the Management Team.

It is important that you apply the term before your child becomes eligible. For example, if your child is already 3 or 4 then you must apply before September in order for us to apply the discount from the Autumn Term. If your child is turning 3 in the Summer Term you must also apply before September. If your child will be turning 3 between September and December then you must apply during the Autumn Term in order to receive the free hours from January 2017 and so on.

It is also important to remember that ALL 3 & 4 year olds are still eligible for 15 free hours per week and this will be taken into account when your new invoices are raised for the next academic year.
